Who are eligible for Voter ID Card in Gujarat
- Indian citizen or resident of particular state to which he is voting
- Citizen must attain age of 18 years
- One must not be get themselves registered in more than one constituencies
- One must have a sound mind i.e mentally stable
- One who is not disqualified at time of elections due to malpractices or any illegal offences
- An unsound mind resident declared by competent court is not eligible for right to vote
If applying for a new voter id card or for some other changes, process has to be done before 10 days of filing last day nominations, so that your name gets included in electoral list for current elections
How to apply Voter ID Card Online in Gujarat
- To proceed further and apply online firstly one must sign up and get registration.
- Furnish all details like name, father name, address, mobile number and email id
- After successfully registering, select the form “Form 6”
- Form 6 is for “new registration”
- Form 6 is for the citizens who are applying for new voter id card or EPIC card or shifting from one constituency to another
- Enter all the details completely and correctly,as the same data enters the card
- Upload the supporting documents of your age proof, address proof and photographs
- After every thing completes, hit on submit button
- You will receive a copy of pdf print out
- Submit it at nearest electoral office or send through post
- Within 15-20 days you will receive new voter id card through post.
- If not received take it by hand by visiting electoral office
