31 districts Telangana state was a dream of Chief minister Mr.K.Chandrasekhar rao. It was a promise made by him to telangana people during elections and now ultimately came true. Telangana state is the newly formed state of India. It is the 29th state and the youngest state formed on 2nd june ,2014. Being located in southern region in India,it is the 12th largest state in India with Hyderabad as its capital. It covers the area of about 112,077 sq.km with population of about 3,52,86,757
Telangana State – New Start :
Initially Telangana state was formed with 10 districts, but as promised by Chief minister Mr. K. Chandashekhar Rao, in general elections, Telangana came up to 31 districts adding 21 new states. After 6 hrs long meeting with committee members, finally Telangana govt. has announced new districts making the list gradually to 31. Chief minister Mr.K.C.R clearly explained his intention on making of 31 states. It is for the better administration as well as planning and implementation of Govt schemes. After new districts are formed, the largest district is Bhadadri Kothagudem and the Smallest is Hyderabad. Telangana State –31 district names : Below are the names of newly formed 31 districts of telangana
Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Jagitial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kumarambheem, Asifabad, Mahubabad, Mahbubnagar, Mancherial, Medak. Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Wanaparthy, Warangalk Rural, Warangal Urban, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
Telangana state – Inaugration of new districts : C.M K.C.R inaugrated new district Siddipet, his hometown on the day of Dasara festival at 11.13 am on october 11 2016. Consequently all the other ministers respectively inaugrated other districts as well. IT and Urban development minister KTR inaugrated Rajanna district. In addition with the new districts, 5 new police commissionerates as well as 6 municipal corporations and 68 Revenue divisions came into existence. The 5 Commissionerates are Karimnagar, Ramagundam, Nizamabad, Siddipet and Khammam
