The MIM party has announced Nominations for Assembly Elections in Andhra pradesh 2014, list of candidates from seven Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad. The names include Akbaruddin Owaisi from Chandrayangutta; Ahmed Pasha Quadri from Charminar; Moazam Khan from Bahadurpura; Ahmed Balala from Malakpet; Jaffar Hussain Miraj from Nampally; Mohiuddin from Karwan; and Mumtaz Khan from Yakutpura.
No candidates named yet for Tirupati
The situation appears to be fluid in Tirupati with no party yet announcing its Lok Sabha candidate officially.In 1999 and 2004, the TDP left Tirupati seat to its alliance partner BJP.The BJP is likely to project S. Munisubramanyam, a municipal contractor, as its candidate.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu announced his party manifesto for women here on Thursday coming out with the promise of implementing a slew of schemes for women’s welfare. Naidu also announced a healthcare scheme for mother and child called ‘Pandanti Bidda’ (a healthy baby) under which the government would pay Rs 10,000 to a mother for a period of six months after the delivery.
