Prime minister of India MR.Narendra Modi has initiated many schemes for our country. Below are some of the schemes which are available for poor and middle income groups
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)
Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi addressed on independence day and announced PMJDY scheme. The main aim of this scheme is to provide savings account to one and all, where they have the benefits of accessing credit, insurance and pension facility. In this scheme they have the facility of rupay debit card, 1 lakh accident insurance and pension scheme under Atal pension yojana.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)
This scheme is to 18 – 50 age group people who give the consent of auto-debit from their account for 2 lakh insurance. LIC offers this scheme where rs.330 auto-debits from their account as premium
Atal Pension Yojana (APY)
Launched on 9th may 2015, this by PM to open savings account in banks or post office depending on the amount of pension they subscribe for rs.1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 or 5000. This scheme is active to subscribers at the age of 60. In case of death of subscriber, his/her spouse is eligible for pension.
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana
Mudra loan is eligible to entrepreneurs and small businessmen who want to expand their business or starting a business. The loan amount is from 50,000 to 5 lakhs.
Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojna
This is the loan applicable to unemployed educated youth specially to women with low interest rates payable for 7 years. Generally subscribers can become self employed and start their own business.
Digitize India
Digitize India is a new scheme started by PM. Through this scheme any one can become online data entry operators. By registering through official website digitizeindia.gov.in one is eligible to become a data entry operator. Government will provide different documents where subscriber has to convert them into digital documents. After completing certain documents amount credits to your account
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
one of the best scheme is pmay scheme. The main aim of this scheme is to provide house to one and all and remove slum. Making India urban and providing houses to lower income, middle income group and below poverty line at low interest rate of 9% payable within 20 years. Beneficiary should not be more than 70 years and annual income not exceeding 3 lakhs, 6 lakhs and 9 lakhs according to level of income group.
Pradhan Mantri Ujwal Yojana
This scheme was started by P.M on may 1st 2016. The main aim behind this scheme is to provide LPG connection to each BPL households in the country who do not possess. And also keeping in mind health of households spoil, due to smoke which arises from old methods of cooking like charcoal, firewood, etc. With the give up LPG scheme by many Indian citizens over 5 crore families are benefited with this scheme
Pradhan Mantri Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (PMSSY)
This project is specially for girl child where one can open savings account on child’s name and can withdraw half of the amount after attaining 18 years of age for marriage or higher studies and remaining amount after attaining 21 years of age withdrawal with full interest.
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY)
under this scheme rabi and kharif crops are provided insurance to farmers. Farmers has to pay a 2%premium to kharif crops and 1.5 % rabi crops
Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojana (PMJAY)
This scheme provides medicines at reasonable rates through Jan Aushadhi stores. Around 3000 stores are going to open around the country where 500 medicines are sold at reasonable rates. This scheme still not yet started
