Himachal Pradesh elections are getting ahead on 9th of November 2017. All the citizens have to make sure that they have the updated EPIC card. Election commission also made clear that any spelling mistakes or clerical mistakes in EPIC card are overlooked. Any voter who is voting in constituency has different constituency name in EPIC card can also vote, provided that his name is present in electoral list. Any mismatch in photo or name in EPIC card, in that case, elector has to produce any of the one document as identity proof. An overseas elector has to be present with original passport only in polling station. Citizens of Himachal Pradesh have to take the EPIC card, voter slip and any one of the documents while going to polling station on 9th of November 2017.

- Health insurance smart card issued under scheme of ministry of labour
- Photo voter slip issued by election machinery
- Official ID card issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs
