1.One must be a citizen of India
2.One must attain age of 18 yrs
3.Resident in a constituency
4.No person shall registered themselves in not more than one constituency.
How to apply voter ID Card Online in Himachal Pradesh

3.List of five forms are displayed
4.Select the form “Form 6”

5.Form 6 indicates for new voter registration or shifting from one constituency to another
6.Firstly select the language out of 3 i.e., English or Hindi or Malayalam

How to apply voter ID card Offline in Himachal Pradesh

- Click on the option “Forms and Procedures”
- A drop down lists of different forms comes down
- Select the option “Form 6”
- Select the language Hindi or English

- Download the form and furnish all the details carefully
- Submit the form with all required documents at respective states District Election Office or main Chief Election Officer between 10AM to 5PM

An acknowledgement receipt is handed over to you to track the status of application
- 2 recent passport size photographs
Age Proof (Submit any one of the following)
- Birth certificate

- 10th class memo
1.if not 10th class, either 8th or 5th class marksheet
Or
2.Declaration certificate in a prescribed format from Parents or Sarpanch from Gram panchayat given declaration as proof of age
Proof of Residence
- Latest Electricity Bill/Water bill/Telephone bill/Gas connection Bill
- Ration card
- Bank / Kisan / Post Office current Pass Book
- Postal department’s posts received / delivered in the applicant’s name at the given address.
Finally new Voter ID card furnishes within a span of 15 days through post. If not, then go to respective electoral office and take it by hand
